This jolly entertaining movie tells of a young English girl Victoria, the most beautiful girl you ever did see but only to England's standards, inheriting a treasure map.
The map leads her to Africa, where she meets and teams up with a gadget inventor called Brian, and the two of them go treasure hunting to find this buried treasure the map promises.
The rest of the movie feels delightfully like one of the early Pokémon episodes - you literally have Jessie and James, or rather, in this movie Jack and Julie, showing up to throw a spanner in the works.
I suppose Brian's maltese poodle called Woefkardoes, could stand in as this story's version of Pikachu, although it's not Woefkardoes but one of Brian's inventions called "Mr. Lightning" that shoots the electric bolts at the enemy.
There is also Chief Malmane, a wanna-be African chief who puts on airs of being someone of utmost importance, but turns out to be an easily bribed thug who is really just looking to align himself with the bad guys in order to get himself some of this delicious treasure.
And so the classic storyline of the good guys versus bad guys plays out, with Victoria and Brian being the good guys who just want to hunt for the treasure, and Jack and Julie ready to play dirty and do whatever underhanded things are necessary to make sure they get to the treasure first.
A suspenceful race against time follows! Who shall it be who gets to the treasure first?
