JOKER movie review

Remember all the media hype about the Joker film? How some people just lost their minds and went berzerk and some of the meaningless media rags were carrying on about how this is a "far right wing" film or whatever bullcrap?

An article on openDemocracy, aiming to demonize Paul Joseph Watson, a content creator for Infowars who opined on the movie in a YouTube video. This is but one example of how certain people believed hatred for others and hit pieces to destroy them is justified because this movie exists.

And wasn't there like somewhere in America where police and security was beefed up in movie theaters because they feared some of the audience might pluck out their guns and do a theater shooting?

Well, if all that nonsense seemed like, well, nonsense to you, yep, it sure was. And the movie is in no way controversial either. It's boring.

Why do I make such an assessment of it? Well, I know I'm late to the party, but I finally got to see this movie last night.

This movie tries desperately to make you have sympathy for the joker in the Batman saga. Yes, after many, many, many years of their punchline being that the joker is the bad guy and Batman must stop his evil plans, it seems the idiots behind this franchise decided to mess up their entire punchline on which their entire story was based.

Now they want to show you how the joker isn't bad because he likes being bad, as he always did. Instead, we are now to believe it's because he had such a hard life and it's society as a whole that is crap and made him into a psychopath, and they want us to hate the rich. Yes, this felt like deflection from the real problem causers in real life society.

It's "the rich" that's the cause of all our problems. Somehow. How? Well, you shouldn't ask how; you should just let them shove their communist dogma down your throat and swallow it because "the rich" as a whole is evil and that's the final word on it.

Of course in the context of the story, this includes Bruce Wayne's family. Yes, after so long of the story being that the Wayne family, Wayne Enterprizes and Bruce Wayne are the good guys, suddenly they are portrayed as the bad guys because they're "rich".

Of course the poor joker is the hero because he suffers from mental illness, so he gets a pass. Or so it felt the moviemakers wanted to portray him anyway, seeing as they make him get off scot free in the end. Yes, after he commited more murders in this movie than I cared to count.

All in all, JOKER is a terribly boring movie, especially if you're not open to it's "KILL THE RICH" message. Yes, they actually have the words "KILL THE RICH" several times on screen, on placards and as newspaper headlines.

Also, a violent political movement in which everybody starts wearing clown masks? I don't think that would ever catch on. But you never know.

If anybody should be portrayed as clowns, it's the real life "liberal order" political establishment and the mainstream media idiots who feed us garbage to soil our lives and minds with, just as this movie intended to do too. Everything is about making life ugly.

In conclusion, the only refreshing thing about this movie was seeing Robert de Niro shot and killed in a movie for once, after always seeing him portrayed as some kind of mafia boss doing the shooting and killing.

But what really ticked me off about the movie, is that the filmmakers seem to think fluorescent tube lights give off a green light that turn the room green. They don't. They give off close to white light. The colors throughout the film took me out of the experience because it looked too stylized. Like I keep being reminded it's all fake, but it demands to be taken serious.
